We must change the conversation about needle phobia. People with medical/needle phobias are already brave. Currently, the internet lacks accurate information. Medical and mental health professionals lack effective training. Phobia sufferers pay the price by going untreated, and avoiding critical health care.
Needle phobia is treatable. However, nurses and lab techs are rushed and burnt out. Therapists treating this phobia may feel isolated and out of their depth. My hope is to provide a hub where lay people, therapists, and medical professionals can come together, find infortmation, and get support.
